Two LED outputs. Built-in sound reaction. Power you can keep an eye on.
MagWLED-2 brings a dual-core ESP32-S3, flexible power options and a built-in digital microphone to your next WLED project. Connect two digital LED strips, enjoy audio-reactive effects, and track current, voltage and power consumption from WLED.
More on board
- Two independent outputs: Control two digital LED outputs, each with a power connection, using convenient screw terminals.
- Flexible power: USB-C Power Delivery supports up to 20V with a compatible supply. The external power input supports up to 24V, with fused and switched power for your strips.
- Built-in digital microphone: Bring music-reactive WLED effects to life without wiring in a separate microphone.
- ESP32-S3 processor: A dual-core processor provides more headroom for effects, including sound-reactive lighting.
- Continuous power monitoring: Integrated current, voltage and power sensing feeds directly into the WLED firmware. Follow consumption continuously in the WLED UI or bring the readings into Home Assistant and your automations.
- Room to expand: Five GPIO breakout pins and a Stemma QT I²C connector support buttons, sensors and other add-ons.
A six-layer, two-sided PCB makes room for two outputs, a microphone and power monitoring.
Choosing a power supply: Match the supply and voltage setting to your LED strips. USB-C provides up to 20V; 24V requires an external power supply.

Power and wiring specifications
- External power: Up to 24V DC and 10A total maximum (240W at 24V). Up to 5A per channel, with both channels sharing the 10A total limit.
- USB-C Power Delivery: Up to 20V and 5A total maximum (100W at 20V). Up to 5A on either channel, with combined current capped by the negotiated USB-C PD limit. Actual output depends on the supply and cable; 5A requires a 5A-capable USB-C cable.
- Terminal wire sizes: 28–16 AWG. DORABO DB125-3.5-8P-GN-S screw-terminal block.
Each channel is limited to 5A. External power supports up to 10A total; USB-C supports up to 5A total, subject to negotiation. Choose wire suitable for the current and cable length—the terminal’s accepted wire range is not a current rating for every wire size.
